Pokémon Sword & Shield: 10 Gigantamax Secrets You TOTALLY Missed

6. Machamp

Machamp is often considered one of the strongest non-legendary Pokémon ever designed.

They are packing more meat on their four biceps than the world's strongest man and Martins Licis is a man made of beef. They're so strong that, according to the Pokédex, humans gave them a cummerbund to wear that was designed to suppress their powers.

Machamp's Gigantamax design has been tweaked a little bit.

Rather than wearing speedos like WWE wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan did in the 1980s, this form of Machamp opts to wear what look like three quarter length shorts. These shorts resemble the modern spin in wrestling attire, most notably the three quarter length shorts that John Cena wears to the ring.

We can also see the modernisation of Machamp's Gigantamax design by looking at the design of the cummerbund it wears. It has been altered to show white giant P, rather than a red one, likely referencing how WWE championship titles are redesigned every few years with a newer and more modern look.
