8. More Vehicles Are Populating The Region

Among the more subtle details of the latest trailers and behind-the-scenes teasers for Pokémon Sun & Moon has been a glimpse at more motorised vehicles than ever before in a Pokémon game. You may well be thinking "So what?", but overlooking this change could prove to be foolish.

In essence, vehicles have never been needed in the regions featured in previous generations of Pokémon games before. If creature-carrying pick-up trucks and trailers are plentiful in the new region, could this mean that traversing the huge region is a bigger challenge than ever before? Obviously we know that the Alola region features a number of separate islands, but could the landmasses be larger than in previous generations?

The shots of concept art vehicles and just-off-camera glimpses is no coincidence, and for now the speculation about exactly what role these will play in the new games will remain rife.

For now, we'll just have to amuse ourselves with what appears to be a Blastoise-powered fire engine...
