Pokémon Sun & Moon: 10 Brand New Details You Need To Know

7. The Game Now Supports Nine Languages, Including Chinese

The Pokémon Company

If you were in any doubt that the juggernaut franchise that is Pokémon still had as much worldwide appeal as it did when it burst onto the scene some twenty years ago, then banish those concerns immediately. Pokémon is continuing to grow, and its quest for world domination is as determined as ever.

For the first time in its life, a main series Pokémon game will feature simplified and traditional Chinese among its playable languages. This takes its grand total to nine in-game languages, making Sun & Moon the most universally available to date.

If this isn't a change that affects you then you may again be a little underwhelmed by the news, but make no mistake about what it represents; the Pokémon juggernaut grows ever stronger even after having crossed an entire generation of players. Generation Eight on the cards already? It would take a disaster for this to be unlikely.
