PS VR: Ranking All Launch Games From Worst To Best

1. RIGS: Mechanized Combat League

Guerrilla Games are perhaps best known for their shooter, Killzone, but now, with their Guerrilla Cambridge studio, they're making one of the most prominent and necessary steps into VR gaming in the industry. RIGS is predominantly an online multiplayer game where you pilot mechs in a 3v3 scenario. Damage an enemy mech enough and you'll be able to drop yourself through a hoop, scoring points for your team.

It's a simple enough premise, but the addition of VR makes this game an absolute stunner. It's gorgeous, for starters, with wide, sweeping maps full of verticality. The game doesn't baby you, nor care to hold your virtual hand - you jump in and kick ass. It's incredibly smooth and soon, you'll be blasting up high above the map and leaping into the hoop. The movement, combined with the immersive nature of PS VR actually makes you feel like you're in a towering mech, whose sprightly steps can send you leaping into the air. It's fun just to jump around for a bit at first, watching the ground beneath your feet drop away.

RIGS also comes packed with a full single-player championship mode as well, but it's unsurprisingly being watched for the fact that PS VR is getting an online, multiplayer exclusive of such quality at launch. RIGS is a must-buy for any PS VR owner - its awesome sense of scale and speed are the best reason to own a PS VR at launch.
