PS VR: Ranking All Launch Games From Worst To Best
2. Battlezone
Rebellion's Battlezone is stunning. It's easy to foresee sinking hours into this tank game, which can be played with up to three other people in drop in/drop out co-op, by the way. You must tear your way through numerous missions in a procedurally generated campaign, designed to be played over and over. Battlezone excels in almost every way - this is a full game worth sinking your teeth into.
The graphical style is immediately striking - it's colourful and bright, with cool explosions and great lighting. The movement itself is so slick it's easy to forget your inside the virtual reality headset at all, save for the awesome cockpit surrounding you. VR sickness seems to be a non-issue here.
While the current lack of any kind of competitive multiplayer is disappointing, Battlezone looks to be a brilliant title regardless. The well-defined aesthetics will help showcase the awesome power of PS VR, while the game itself is great too. Being inside a powerful tank never felt so great as when you look up in the sky to take out airborne threats, while three friends attempt to do the same.
