PS2 Mini: 20 Games It MUST Include

2018’s God of War was one of the years’ GOTY contenders, and, though the name was anything but creative, the release was an absolute masterpiece destined to go down as one of the hallmark titles of the eighth console generation.

Though a compilation of the first two games was released for the PlayStation 3, the first game in the series has become increasingly less accessible as the years have gone on. Initially released in 2005, it’s amazing to see how well this experience holds up given how aged other games of the era can feel.

With whispers of the next console generation abound and the end of the PlayStation 4 somewhere on the horizon, it doesn’t seem likely that a remaster of the original God of War will be coming to the system. However, should Sony see fit to put out a PlayStation 2 Classic, this game, alongside it’s excellent successor, definitely deserves to be on there.

Since last year’s God of War title was so successful, legions of new fans have to be clamoring to know more about Kratos’ past, and PS2 Classics will be flying off the shelves should these games come preloaded on it.
