PS2 Mini: 20 Games It MUST Include

At long last, the wait for Kingdom Hearts III is at an end. Scheduled for release at the end of January 2019, longtime fans can finally see what kind of action Sora and his band of Disney friends get into in the series’ long-anticipated tertiary installment.

Initially released in 2002, the original Kingdom Hearts title on the PS2 has been remixed, remastered, and re-released a number of times and on a few different Sony consoles, though up to this point there haven’t been more than two number entries in the mainline series.

While nostalgic fans could pick up 1.5 Remix, 2.5 Remix, or the Story So Far chronology, nothing quite beats the experience of firing up an original copy of the first game and blasting through it on native hardware… assuming the console’s analog sticks aren’t all gunked up.

Kingdom Hearts is without a doubt one of the most absurd crossover concepts in gaming, but it’s utter insanity is part of what makes it so endearing. An enthralling RPG woven around a tremendous Disney storyline, this, and perhaps the second title, would be mandatory on a PlayStation 2 Classic.
