PS5: 5 Must-Buy Launch Games (And 5 That Will Suck)

Sony doesn't have its own exclusive racing game coming to the PS5 on launch day, but there are still two options for those lucky enough to have managed to nab the console in all the pre-order madness.

The first is DIRT 5 which, based on early reviews, looks set to be a lot of fun (especially with a career mode starring Nolan North (Uncharted) and Troy Baker (Marvel's Avengers)). WRC 9, on the other hand, looks set to be overshadowed if early word on the game is any indication.

Once again, it doesn't sound like it can be faulted from a visual standpoint, but the franchise doesn't appear to have evolved much since WRC 8. Career objectives remain largely pointless, customisation is still non-existent, and there's a sense of laziness with one early review pointing out that your driver and co-driver have the same head!

Hardcore fans of the series are likely to flock to this one, but beyond that, you're going to be better off checking our DIRT 5 or holding off for the next instalment in the Gran Turismo series.
