Rainbow Six: Siege - 8 Major Annoyances Every Player Knows

3. Accidentally Leaving The Biohazard Container

Rainbow Six Siege
Ubisoft

Nothing is more frustrating than helplessly spectating as your team mate runs out of the objective, allowing the enemy to secure it. This is especially infuriating at the end of regulation time when the objective is contested, so the winner is the last man standing by the biohazard container.

Usually this means the enemies have been killed, but sometimes a defender has the bright idea of sprinting out of the objective and attacking the enemy from behind. Certainly an unexpected move, especially since this triggers an automatic loss for the defending team.

Leaving the container in general is also a bad idea, unless you can trust your remaining team mates to stay where they are. Attackers are more vulnerable when they are on the far side of the map, not expecting a defender to leap out at them. This tactic backfires when the attackers enter the objective from a window, finding it empty.

The attacking team can then use the reinforced room around them to easily hold off a team of operators who do not have any powers designed for attacking.
