Ranking 2018's Biggest Remaining Video Games By Anticipation
3. Spyro Reignited Trilogy
The next logical step after Crash's N. Sane Trilogy, the return of Spyro is somehow even more welcome. Where Crash's original PS1 games were still totally playable platforming gems with ace voice acting and hilarious animations, Spyro's open worlds feel genuinely in need of updating.
Enter Toys for Bob, who in the process of updating the geo-meshes of the environments themselves, have gone all out adding tons of awesome details that really encourage exploration.
Spyro looks spot-on too; a world away from the contorted goblin-esque abomination that fronted Skylanders for the last seven years. His voice acting, animations, colouration and all-round positivity is simply joyous, complimenting the revamped level layouts and tone of the game every step of the way.
Like revisiting an old friend and realising they're getting along better than ever, it'll be great to have Spyro back.
