28. Revolver Ocelot (MGS)

This one has a soft place in the hearts of many MGS fans because it's the first boss they ever encountered in the series, and it introduced Revolver freaking Ocelot into the franchise. As Snake attempts to rescue ArmsTech President Kenneth Baker, Ocelot shows up and challenges Snake to a duel. The key to beating Ocelot is to attack him when he reloads his gun after firing 6 shots, and as long as you keep away from the wires in the middle of the room (which will trigger a fatal explosion), there's not really much to be worried about here. It's a fun fight which lets players know what the par is for boss fights in the game, and its iconic quality speaks for itself. Plus, the Cyborg Ninja slices Ocelot's arm off at the end of the fight: what more could you want?
