12. Far Cry: New Dawn
More Far Cry 5? That's not really a bad thing.
Despite not making as much of an impact as Ubisoft probably wanted it to make, Far Cry 5 was still a pretty fun game, despite changing a lot of what made Far Cry great in the first place.
The announcement of Far Cry: New Dawn at The Game Awards created a lot of questions regarding how big of an expansion the game was going to be. It doesn't help that New Dawn looks very similar to Rage 2.
The trailers made it look very similar to Far Cry 5, with some different weapons and vehicles which isn't really very exciting. Time will tell what else there is to find in the game, but for now let's just be hopeful.
New Dawn should hopefully be a much more satisfying product considering it doesn't have the pressure of a political message or serious story like Far Cry 5 did. Let's hope the gameplay remains satisfying.
