Ranking Summer 2016's Video Games From Worst To Best
16. Trials Of The Blood Dragon
The result of Ubisoft realising that 'whacky' things tend to sell well (because the internet) Trials of the Blood Dragon was announced at E3 2016 as some carefree combination of Far Cry's best-selling DLC and Trials' own increasingly off-kilter plot, hinted at in Trials Fusion.
The result was... actually terrible. The game now saw awful platforming segments added where you'd hop off your bike to complete them, alongside some unresponsive shooting and an aesthetic that strived for Hotline Miami-levels of 80s noir cool, but ended up in the gutter instead.
You have to admire the pitch of Trials of the Blood Dragon, but playing it was unequivocally Not A Good Time.
