17. Umbrella Corps

In a move that initially made us all sigh and say, "Just... what the hell are you doing, Capcom?", Resident Evil spin-off Umbrella Corps now makes some modicum of sense when put next to Resi 7.

See, apparently the developer wanted to give fans of the more action-oriented parts of their titles, an entire game, whilst getting the train back on track with the next main game, being RE7 will focus on one man exploring a mansion in search of his wife.

See? It makes some sense now. Still, you still have to contend with why Umbrella Corps is more shallow than Peter Molyneux's business integrity, why there's barely anything to see or do other than hold the left trigger and then the right - or why you'd bother with this by-the-numbers over-shoulder shooter when you could play anything else on the market and have a better experience.
