Ranking Summer 2016's Video Games From Worst To Best
15. Ghostbusters
Speaking of things that were not fun for all involved, everything about Sony's 'resurrection' of a franchise people still pay tribute to every Halloween, meant they had to kill it first. The movie was an unmitigated disaster, but part of its one-two punch of mediocrity came in the form of a video game.
Now, props to developers FireForge for having a cast of 'busters that are both male and female (WHAT A REVOLUTIONARY THOUGHT), but in-game, you spent far too much time exploring and aimlessly wandering around, than actually taking down any spectres.
Playing in the mould of Diablo/Gauntlet, teaming up with your mates for some colourful shooting should've been a literal blast, but thanks to a combination of repetitive gameplay and the Ghostbusters name being dragged through the muck at the time, it sold so bad that Fireforge were forced to declare bankruptcy.
Bummer.
