Red Dead Online - 10 Essential Updates Rockstar MUST Add

1. More NPCs And Dynamic Events

Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar

The singleplayer was made as brilliant to play as it is through the number of events and characters you could run into. People like Gavin's friend, the amputee war veteran and that one escaped prisoner you just kept seeing all made the game feel dynamic and alive.

This depth and sense of an ever-changing environment are lacking in the online mode; with only a few repeated events cropping up now and then. Saving a woman from animals or defending a camp from waves of enemies is just not as interesting as it could be. Giving random characters stories that unfold with different things happening as they progress would surely add a lot more to the game.

We know that Rockstar have mastered the story-telling formula; with each story they come up with being brilliant in terms of narrative, character development and creativity. So bringing a little bit of that charm to online and doing what they're good at can only lead to positive things, right?

Nobody wants to just waste time in a seemingly empty and lifeless world and giving players things to do will hopefully reduce the rate at which they get bored. This will hopefully lead to a reduced number of players just logging in to ruin others' experiences.
