Red Dead Redemption 2: 10 Characters We Need To See

Thought to be modelled after legendary gunslinger Wyatt Earp, Landon Ricketts is one of the few genuine friends John makes during the campaign.

Being something of a vigilante/unofficial lawman to the people of Chuparosa in the original, Ricketts assists Marston in hunting down Javier Escuella and shows him how to be a better shot by teaching him advanced Dead Eye skills. It would just be down-right cool to see a younger Landon Ricketts kicking ass, taking names and helping the government hunt down notorious criminals like Dutch and his ilk.

Imagine if during one of the missions, John and Landon come face to face with each other in an epic shootout between Dutch’s gang and the US marshals. I don’t think I need to say how awesome that would be.

The thought of Ricketts being a hardened lawman that led the search for bandits and outlaws (and could have even crossed paths with Leigh Johnson or Edgar Ross) is a really strong angle his character could have.

Ricketts could even turn out to be a mercenary who helps John and friends. For the right price.
