Red Dead Redemption 2 Revisted: 10 Awesome Details You Missed
5. Your Fellow Gang Members Won't Put Up With Your Crap
Something Rockstar prided themselves on upon Red Dead Redemption 2's release is that every NPC is interactable. Everyone in the game can be engaged in conversation in some way, with dialogue options usually being a choice of "Antagonize" and "Greet" (or "Defuse" if you've already made yourself known).
During the first playthrough, it's more than likely that players were typically gracious to NPCs in order to achieve a 'good' ending for Arthur, especially to your fellow gang members at your campsites. However on future, perhaps morally looser playthroughs, this may wain a bit.
With each character in a campsite, you can interact with them positively or negatively. Positive engagement will of course largely be more beneficial for the player, uncovering extra backstory, context, or side-missions to Arthur as well as sometimes giving him a bit of extra Honor.
Chat to your friends negatively and they will rightly tell you exist elsewhere. Should you continue to press their buttons (your "Antagonize" button) they will knock your sorry self out and temporarily kick you out of the camp.
Probably the game's way of stopping people trying to pile on Micah after they find out what he does later.
