Resident Evil: Every Playable Character Ranked Worst To Best
8. Sheva Alomar
Resident Evil 5 saw the return of series veteran Chris Redfield into the mainline series as he travelled to Africa on the tail of bioterrorist Ricardo Irving. This time he was working for the BSAA and was accompanied by newcomer Sheva Alomar.
After the annoyance of having to babysit Ashley in Resident Evil 4, Sheva proved to be a breath of fresh air as an AI companion. Moreover, another player could take control of her for a co-op experience.
Fully capable and skilled in action, Sheva is on equal footing with Chris and a worthy addition to to the Resi roster.
Unfortunately, Resident Evil 5 is predominately Chris's story. And with no distinctive character arc or emotional stake in the narrative, Sheva's main downfall is that she's simply there to tag along for the ride.
