7. Ada Wong
Not much is known about enigmatic super spy Ada Wong - not even her real name. What we do know about her, though, is that she brings extra intrigue and style to whichever entries she's cropped up in throughout the years.
A huge part of both Resident Evil 2 and 4 (though she was only playable in an extra game mode in the latter), Ada and Leon's tenuous partnership was a huge part of what gave these two fan-favourite entries much of their charm.
Ada would finally get her own campaign in Resident Evil 6. The focus on puzzle solving felt like classic Resident Evil with added stealth elements bring a fresh twist to the Resi formula. But it was still Resident Evil 6, and not the solo outing she deserved.
With Ada originally intended to appear in Village, there's hope she'll make a comeback in the series yet.
