Resident Evil: Ranking Every Boss From Worst To Best

2. Albert Wesker

Resident Evil Bosses
Capcom

Appears In: Resident Evil 5 / Lost in Nightmares

One of the only two surviving children from Project W and the overarching villain for over the first ten years of Resident Evil games, Albert Wesker's influence over the series cannot be denied.

Starting off the series as the leader of the Raccoon City S.T.A.R.S, who was actually secretly working for Umbrella, who then actually, actually turned out to be in it for himself all along, Wesker defines hiding in plain sight.

By the time of Resident Evil 5, he has already had his hand in bringing down Umbrella from the inside, destroying the Ashfords, manipulating events within RE4 and perfecting his very own strain of the virus - The Uroboros virus. This was done so with all he had learned from the T, G, T-Veronica Virus, Plaga sample from Los Iluminados and topped off with the blood of Jill Valentine.

Going back to where it all started for the founders of Umbrella, Wesker has his operation allied with Tricell in Africa before Chris finally gets to confront him. Having almost perfectly bonded with Uroboros, he has bullet time like reflexes, superior strength and heightened regenerative abilities. Which means conventional means (even with a partner) won't be enough to take him down.

How To Beat:

During the first confrontation with him, just run and hide. Wesker will eventually leave.

As cool as Wesker looks in his Matrix inspired get-up, with his Matrix like reflexes and those shades that complete the look, he sure has a problem seeing things in Resident Evil 5.

Straight off the bat, all possible lights should be shut off because the daft fool is wearing sunglasses during the night. Then, get as close as possible to fire rockets right in his face. Shoot once caught, then rinse and repeat as the fight progresses.

If Chris and Sheva somehow survive "Global Saturation", boulder punching and distance will be the key to forever finishing Wesker off - in a volcano of all places.
