Resident Evil: Ranking Every Boss From Worst To Best
1. Nemesis
Appears In: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
In the end, it was always going to be this iconic Tyrant. Even if players haven't played Resident Evil, they know of Nemesis and have heard plenty a tale of how this hulking beast pursues them relentlessly for an entire game.
While Umbrella is in the pharmaceuticals line of work, behind the scenes they are constantly working on bioweapons to eventually sell to the highest bidder. When Raccoon City went to hell, what better time to test their extensive line of Tyrant models - including the dreaded Mr X, and of course, Nemesis.
Setting the scene: Raccoon City is burning, the NEST has been overrun and the best chance for survival is now to flee as soon as possible. This is the only option for Jill Valentine, just two months after the Spencer Mansion Incident. But she didn't anticipate this Tyrant, armed with a rocket launcher, to be hot on her tail.
How To Beat:
A genre-defining enemy, Nemesis doesn't have to be fought, and unlike hardly any game of the time, the best strategy was to run like hell. But if players are feeling up to the challenge, Nemesis can be taken down - and if on hard mode Jill will be awarded with drops such as -
1st "kill"- Eagle Parts A
2nd "kill"- Eagle Parts B
3rd "kill"- First Aid Box (can hold up to three First Aid Sprays)
4th 'kill"- M37 parts A
5th "kill"- M37 parts B
6th "kill"- Another First Aid Box
7th "kill"- Either Assault Rifle OR Infinite ammo once the game has been completed.
There is no set way of beating Nemesis as such, but over the years it has been discovered that he is weak to freeze rounds. If they are not available, then grenades or magnum rounds are the next best bet. And if for some reason these are not an option, it is going to be around upwards of 70 standard pistol rounds.
