Skyrim: Special Edition - 10 Best-Looking Locations You Must Visit

4. Twilight Sepulcher

Skyrim Twilight Sepulcher
Bethesda

Discovered as part of the Thieves Guild questline, Twilight Sepulcher is a treasure almost equal to the many trinkets and jewels that the player will be tasked with burgling. A Nordic ruin just west of Falkreath, it's an unusual and isolated area for that particular Hold.

The Sepulcher will be locked unless you're able to access it through the Thieves Guild quests but that's not entirely necessary if you just want to admire its beauty. The entrance, however, is the kind of screenshot fodder that Bethesda would have teased in the game's pre-release footage.

Bordered on one side by rushing water and set just far enough into a rock face to bathe it in haunting shadow, Twilight Sepulcher is dazzlingly mysterious.

With the smoother water work and painstakingly carved stonework of the remaster, this one is definitely worth wandering past.
