Smash Bros. Switch: 10 New Characters Nintendo Must Add
3. Any ARMS Character
ARMS is a fighting game; Smash Bros. is a fighting game. It doesn't take a genius to make that correlation and predict the obvious outcome, but taking a stab at which member of the former's roster will make it for Smash's Switch debut is wide open for debate.
As stars of the brawler's box art, Spring Man or Ribbon Girl are the most obvious choices for recognition's sake, but both are rather vanilla in comparison to the rest of the cast. Twintelle's metal fist-tipped pigtails or Ninjara's chainlink-appendages-topped-with-oversized-chakram are both good shouts, but the award for most likely representative (assuming Nintendo only includes one) goes to Dr. Coyle.
The creator of Hedlock and Springtron is unique among the rest of ARMS' cast in that she can levitate and go invisible, but she also boasts the distinction of primary antagonist status, something that Smash Bros., historically, has suffered from a distinct lack of.
It's time to even the odds.
