South Park: Every Game Ranked Worst To Best
3. South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play!
On the surface, this one might seem like another simple attempt to slap a South Park logo onto a different gaming genre. But, it's actually one hell of a great Tower Defence game.
As the first South Park video game in nine years after the release of South Park Rally in 2000, it really showed that the brand still had hope for a life in gaming.
The game follows as an endless barrage of enemies attack the town, and the boys battle in a collection of defence play matches. The story has a tonne of creativity to it, as the boys continuously search for the "main villain", finding each person to be just another pawn. Without spoiling it, the big bad is a hilarious twist and a great piece of meta-humour.
However, a charming story isn't the only thing this game has going for it, as the defence gameplay itself is incredibly challenging and faced-paced. There's a great learning curve to it which gives you a lot more than you'd expect. But, it also adds the ability to control the characters individually and attack enemies, adding some exciting additional action to the title.
It's a game that surprises you with its high quality and truly resurrected South Park games.
