There are quite a few easter eggs and secrets in Insomniac’s New York referencing the City’s resident Man Without Fear. From his business cards, to his local bar, and even his law offices, Daredevil is the Marvel hero who seems to get shown the most love in Insomniac’s Marvel universe.

However, one of the smaller, more subtle references to The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen comes in the form of the Clinton Mission Shelter landmark, located a few blocks south of the Hell’s Kitchen Police Department (and just East of the Rand Corporation building).

At first glance, the Clinton Mission Shelter is just a standard religious building among many in New York, but more avid fans of Daredevil will know that this is actually the workplace of Matt Murdock’s Mother; the Nun, Sister Maggie.

A subtle reference for the more curious and devoted fans, the Clinton Mission shelter was another great way of acknowledging the most famous other half of Spider-Man’s many superhero team ups, without simply throwing ‘Nelson and Murdock’ paraphernalia at the player again.
