2. The Insomniac Building
Insomniac Games, long before being known as ‘The Spider-Man guys’ thanks to their recent success and widespread acclaim, were previously best known for developing iconic classics such as the Spyro The Dragon, Ratchet and Clank and Resistance franchises.
An icon of the industry, Insomniac have always produced beloved games that go on to stand the test of time and become well-regarded classics (as well as often ranking among the best places to work by FORTUNE). As such, many lifelong fans of the studio were delighted to see them propelled into the AAA Limelight with their work on Spider-Man.
It was particularly nice to stumble across then, that located a few blocks South-East of Central Park in Spider-Man’s Midtown district, is an unmarked building belonging to none other than Insomniac themselves.
A secret location immortalising the studio in their own game, it’s as good a monument to everything the studio has created thus far as much as it is a well-deserved credit for the developers of one of the best superhero games of all time.
