As the one game on everybody's lips, Spider-Man's arrival on current-gen hardware is one for the ages. Insomniac have turned in such an immaculate web-spinning gem, it's immediately up there with the best exclusives on PS4 - not to mention claiming "Best Spider-Man Game Ever" with ease.
The game's freeform open-world structure does come with one hell of a story, but chances are you've lost countless hours to random crimes, side missions, photo opportunities - or just high-fiving grateful citizens of New York itself. This version of the Big Apple genuinely feels alive and there's a real hustle and bustle about the place at street level, but with great gameplay opportunity, comes great distract-ability.
We've already covered a ton of tips and tricks that will help you grind XP faster and batter goons into submission with ease, but it's worth noting Spidey's repertoire and the game world in general has far more to it than even a complete save file would have you believe.
