10. Silver Sable
The Sinister Six will be the main obstacle standing between Spider-Man and the dream of a crime-free New York City, but the nefarious group is far from the only dangerous force the latter's Spidey Senses will need to be aware of.
Silver Sable, a mercenary-for-hire, finds herself in the employ of one Norman Osborn during the course of the game and given one 'simple' task: to track down the Spider, and not for a casual chat. What Osborne's ultimate aim in Insomniac's spin on the character turns out to be is anyone's guess, but Sable, who usually sticks to hunting war criminals, likely has her own reasons for seeking out New York's protector.
As per the character's comic book origins, Sable isn't a bonafide villain and harbours no ill will towards Spider-Man, but she won't hesitate to make herself an enemy if the job demands it.
There's absolutely more to the story than what Insomniac's currently letting on, but until then, Silver Sable's best described as the quintessential morally grey character whose allegiances could flip-flop any which way.
