What They've Done Before: Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls
Why They'd Be Perfect: Although we've had plenty of Batman games before, we've never had one that's simply focused on Gotham City. Which is a shame, because it's the perfect setting for a video game; diverse, atmospheric and full of the worst villains this side of the DC universe, there's endless possibilities when it comes to the stories a developer could tell.
Which is why the setting would be perfect for Quantic Dream. Forget about playing as Batman; a gritty interweaving crime drama that sees you playing as everyone from petty thugs to Commissioner Gordon would be one of the best uses of the license in years.
Telltale are obviously taking a similar approach to the universe with their upcoming Batman series, yet a narrative-driven game that kept the Caped Crusader in the shadows while focusing instead on the crimes and the lives of the street-level heroes and villains would be right up Quantic Dream's street.
