2. Split-Screen Co-Op Online
Much has been made about the 'death of couch co-op' in gaming (something Rocket League promptly
flipped the middle digits to earlier this year with some impeccable team-based gameplay), and Battlefront does include split-screen for the Survival modes. However - and this just seems to be a technical limitation on the new hardware - split-screen doesn't apply to the online mode. The older Battlefronts didn't feature this either, forcing you to buddy up with someone online rather than locally, but being the PS4/Xbox One and new-age PCs are meant to be these all-singing all-dancing dream-machines, surely there's a way to make it happen? At least having your friend over and hopping into a match together from the same server would aid immensely in the tactical side of things, letting your coordinate tactics that could then be told to teammates through either of your headsets. Hopefully the offline missions will be fulfilling enough to scratch the local multiplayer itch, but man - you and your buddy getting dropped onto Hoth simultaneously? That would be pretty damn special.
