1. Don't Make The Gameplay Rely On Scripted Events
In the pursuit of ensuring everyone involved on a match of Walker Assault has an experience that mirrors that of the film, DICE have took to Call of Duty or Battlefield'ing it up a little bit - which is to say, there are certain events that occur in the world, regardless of your input. It's both good and bad; the look of a Snowspeeder barrelling out of control and embedding itself upright in the snow is one hell of a sight that grounds the reality of what you're up against perfectly - but we're going to be playing these exact scenarios ten, twenty, fifty-plus times over the next few years, and already the strings are starting to show. This isn't to mention the auto-walking AT-ATs, where the game's scripting must be set to grant victory to the Empire after a certain time has elapsed, rather than their physical proximity to the shield generator. Case in point; even if you manage to down them at the last second, 'Victory' can go to the Empire as the game doesn't count the Snowspeeder tangling its legs as something that impedes progress towards the goal. It's scripted to only stop the shields blowing up when both AT-ATs have hit the floor, meaning Rebels can still lose mid-animation, getting the cutscene of the generator blowing up for no reason when both AT-ATs are crumpled heaps in the snow.
