Star Wars Battlefront 2: 10 Things DICE Must Add
4. Droidekas
The rosters for each side in Battlefront 2 are stacked with four main classes, Enforcers, Aerial, heroes or villains and the newly added Infiltrator. However, there is one hugely glaring admission from EA's offering and that is the Droideka.
Also known as Destroyer Droids, these wheel-shaped menaces have the ability to get across the batlefield fast, before unpacking to unleash a bombardment of blaster fire on their foes. These should have easily replaced the B2 Battle Droid Enforcer class, and it is truly a missed opportunity they've not been included so far.
The argument against them is they'd be too overpowered, but simple tweaks could ensure that wasn't the case.
Make them super susceptible to blaster fire whilst rolling, then in their walking form, have them move at a decent pace, but limit their turning radius. Lastly, personal shields are already a thing for normal troops with Star Cards, so this really shouldn't be a problem implementing them further down the line.
Let the player prove that Jedi are no match for Droidekas.
