Star Wars: Battlefront 2 - Ranking EVERY Hero & Villain From Worst To Best

7. General Grievous

GENERAL GRIEVOUS' ABILITIES

Thrust Surge: General Grievous lunges forward, stabbing his enemy as he pins them down.
Unrelenting Advance: Grievous ignites four lightsabers, deflecting attacks and inflicting damage on anyone foolish enough to challenge him.
Claw Rush: Dropping to a crawl, Grievous scrambles forward, damaging his enemies as he drives them back.

Grievous is an all-round powerhouse to play as. It takes a few games playing as him to get into the swing of things, but once you're used to his gameplay then he is an incredibly useful character; especially effective in a Heroes Vs. Villains match.

Thrust Surge often results in slight glitching (as Kylo Ren's Frenzy used to), but when the attack hits its mark it knocks the opponent down for long enough for you to finish them off with powerful lightsaber strikes. Unrelenting Advance is incredibly annoying - for the enemy, that is. It's an unblockable attack, and deals low damage per hit, but if a target is hit continuously then it will often defeat them. Claw Rush is just as effective as Rey's Dash Strike, and even more effective than Han's Shoulder Charge, as Claw Rush allows you to hit multiple enemies, and ends with a powerful lightsaber strike.

Grievous has moderate stamina, but his powerful swings often drain the bar very quickly, leaving him incredibly vulnerable to attacks. He is mostly vulnerable to force powers, such as Push, Repulse, and Unleash - this is because one any of his three abilities are triggered, he may be knocked back (or off the map) by a strong Force push.
