Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - 10 MAJOR Questions We Still Need Answering

5. How Thorough Is The Upgrade System?

Upgrade systems are a fad that the gaming industry is absolutely obsessed with, and it doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon. And it isn't hard to see why, since when used correctly, it can pay out in dividends, keeping your player hooked for longer play sessions by adding in regular smaller milestones and victories that make you feel like you're actually making progress.

Jedi: Fallen Order has one such system as well, though we've seen very little of it. Beyond knowing that it uses skill points like a lot of other current gen games, we don't know how far it goes when it comes to upgrading your character.

Upgrading force powers and obtaining new lightsaber flourishes is a given, but there should definitely be a means of upgrading Cal's little robot companion. I mean, if it's gonna be there when you're beating up on stormtroopers, you should at least be able to duct tape a blaster to its head or something.

If Respawn takes notes from Star Wars The Force Unleashed, and builds on what the first game set up with its upgrade system, this could really be something special.
