Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 3 - 10 Things That Must Be Included

Upon The Force Unleashed's release, the time period between Episodes III and IV hadn't really been traversed, which led to a fresh and intriguing narrative. However, since then this area has been given a large amount of focus - both from The Force Unleashed's sequel and in the new animated series, 'Star Wars: Rebels.' Even the now (sadly) cancelled '1313' used the same setting, and it's beginning to wear just a little bit thin.

Mediums separate from the films have a great opportunity to explore the ever-changing Expanded Universe, and with LucasFilm's recent acquisition by Disney the universe in question is now a blank slate. Time periods often neglected can now be mined for stories, with perhaps the most interesting being between Episode IV and V.

This isn't to say that the third game can only be confined to the realms of the original trilogy however, as it's pretty clear fans are eager to see more of 'The Old Republic' as well as the gap between Episodes VI and VII. This third chapter has the chance to really tread in places untapped by previous titles, so it would be a massive shame to see that opportunity wasted on an era that's already been experienced.
