Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 3 - 10 Things That Must Be Included

5. Starfighter Combat

A quintessential part of all Star Wars media, Starfighters and the battles they endure are in desperate need of the next-gen treatment. Already a feature of some of the most renowned Star Wars games such as 'Tie Fighter', Battlefront II, and 'Jedi Starfighter', space dogfights should form an integral part of the next Force Unleashed.

Having a starfighter to command could also bring in different features, namely one to customise your own. Combined with the ability to mould the saber of their choosing, customising a starfighter would take immersion for the player to a whole other level. Class types, weapons, paint schemes, decals - all should be included to provide the ultimate experience of piloting the perfect spacecraft, which could also potentially act as a hub world in the same vein as Knights Of The Old Republic and Mass Effect.

Accessing holograms, plotting destinations, admiring the galaxy, and even conversing with your own crew members in between missions would make for a fantastic experience unrivalled by other gaming genres. It's time for Star Wars games to let players flex their pilot wings again.
