Super Smash Bros. Switch: 10 Overpowered Characters It Must Fix

4. Star Fox

Super Smash Bros
Nintendo

Fox has always been too strong for his own good. With fantastic speed, combo potential and smash attacks, there isn't really an area that Fox strongly lacks in.

Although he's certainly not as strong as he once was in Melee, Fox is still a pretty powerful force to be reckoned with, no matter who is playing him. The thing that puts Fox above other characters is his projectile game. Using Fox's blaster from afar and racking up the damage is all too easy, especially when mixed in with some of his quicker attacks and combos.

Fox also has access to an incredible up smash, which can K.O. opponents extremely quickly. Speed is the name of the game for Fox, and it's what makes him a popular choice.

Fox's nerfs from the most recent iteration of Smash have placed him below his Melee counterpart, but that doesn't mean he isn't one of the most reliable characters in the series. Smash for Switch definitely needs to take a close look at Fox.
