Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC: 10 Characters We Want To See

Sonic the Hedgehog and the series of games associated with him have endured some hard times since the golden years of the Mega Drive, but within the world of Super Smash Brothers, he’s actually a pretty viable fighter.

On top of that, he’s currently the only Sega character on the entire roster, which makes me think we’ll either see Sonic’s good buddy Tails or his friend/foe Knuckles added in further down the line. Personally I’d love Billy Hatcher to join the fray, but literally no one likes the kid dressed as a chicken except for me, so that will never happen.

Knuckles strengths would lie in his damage dealing, being able to hit enemies for big damage and have powerful smash attacks. His downfall would be his lack of range and he’d be relatively light and floaty, but could use his gliding skills as a useful way of recovering.

His Final Smash would need to be something to do with the chaos emeralds, something like shooting seven high damaging beams (one for each emerald) or a rainbow radius attack that KO’d anyone within range.

I just hope they don’t use his Sonic Boom model. No one wants Knuckles on steroids.
