Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC: 10 Characters We Want To See
6. Zero (Mega Man Zero)
1361773Initially designed as the new-look Mega Man for a series in the Blue Bomber’s universe, Zero became a character of his own, appearing in Mega Man X and as the playable character in Mega Man Zero.
Zero is a mechanical solider and Maverick Hunter, Maverick’s being robots that turned against humans. He wields his Z-Saber (an energy sword similar to a lightsaber) and a Z-Buster, a more powerful version of Mega Man’s arm cannon.
Now if you don’t think Smash Ultimate could be made better by adding in a mech suit wearing, robot hunting space ninja, we cannot be friends.
With all the tools Zero has at his disposal, his move list would basically write itself. Slashing people with his Z-Saber and using his Buster like Mega Man does would be his main forms of attack, then maybe some crazy energy blast as his Final Smash.
With Zero having two fairly different character designs, it’d be interesting to see which one Nintendo would favour. His “more human” redesign is probably what they’d go for, but his initial look with his long blonde hair and robo-horns made him look like some kind of anime robot god.
