Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC: 10 Characters We Want To See

Let’s get one thing straight: he’s not a power ranger.

Viewtiful Joe (or just Joe when he isn’t beating up bad guys) is the titular character of the two games bearing his name, a superhero who has the ability to control the flow of time.

Joe’s high flying kicks and crazy speed would make him a bit of a task to control, but a satisfying experience once you’ve tamed his wild powers. His ability to slow down and speed up time could function like Bayonetta’s Witch Time, affecting opponents movements drastically. His trademark “Voomerangs” could be his standard B attack, as well as busting out the Shocking Pink bomb with a down + B.

Like his Capcom brethren Nathan and Arthur, Joe was part of the roster in Marvel vs Capcom series, playable in MvC 3: Fate of Two Worlds and Ultimate MvC. While he’s only had two of his own games (plus an anime series in Japan), Viewtiful Joe is a true fan favourite character. Many people are calling for him to be put on the Smash Brothers roster as soon as possible, so there’s definitely demand for him to be included.
