2. Include Some Brilliant Detective Scenes

By the time Arkham Knight came around, Batman was only maintaining his 'World's Greatest Detective' label thanks to a smattering of specific vision modes in his cowl that did most of the work for him. Let's see Telltale's Bat have things stripped back, with gameplay mechanics created specifically around some good ol' fashioned detective work. Now, the point in the Dark Knight movie where Bruce reconstitutes a fired bullet and pulls a finger print was just touching the limit in terms of true absurdity, but this sort of technology could be at your disposal, should you have the requisite amount of evidence in-hand first. The best part about this aspect of the game is - like in Arkham Origins - your clues point to all sorts of scenarios that are immediately interesting, like main characters being killed or others being taken away from the crime scene. It was up to you to thumb through various VR simulations where you recreated the crime, and from there it'd be up to you to decide who to go after. Once you've committing to what the evidence says, that's where my next point comes in...
