The Avengers Project: 10 Things It Must Include
7. Play As Each Character
Bit of a no-brainer really. It’s an Avengers game. Not much is known of the final product so far, but that much is clear. If it ends up being an Iron Man game where you get to have a chat with Steve Rogers once in a while, fans will be severely let down.
It’s been touted as an Avengers game, and that’s what it has to be. Whether that’ll be the original MCU Avengers, or whether the likes of Ant-Man, Wasp and Spider-Man join in on the fun is still yet to be seen. The chances of Spidey is pretty small considering his solo success, but whoever is involved, we have to be able to step into their shoes.
If this game is anywhere near as good as Spider-Man it could be the definitive release of its era. But honestly, even if it’s only half as good it’ll still fly off shelves. As long as we get to be the Avengers, fans will line up to throw their hard earned money at it. And the inevitable various collector's editions with overly expensive plastic figurines, of course.
