The Division: 10 Crucial Questions Ubisoft Must Answer
4. Will Enemy Types Have Enough Variation?
Look at any screenshot or chunk of gameplay and note down what the player is fighting. Thugs and occasionally militarised commandos, right? Also known as... the same identikit fodder we've been blowing to Kingdom Come ever since Call of Duty's fourth instalment. The thing that comes with setting up your game as a 'human on human' conflict, is it then needs to excel through the A.I., like how The Last of Us' enemies would flank you, attempt to bait you into certain rooms or retreat and fling molotovs your way. It's very possible this will be the case in The Division too, although what we've been shown so far has seen the player close the distance on the opposition, instead of them doing anything interesting that forces you to react on the fly.
