7. Spears And Halberds - New Weapons

For some reason halberds, spears and and more melee-focussed ranged weapons were left out of Skyrim, even though they were readily available in Morrowind.

Why? Who knows, but fans quickly took to modding them back in as soon as possible, relegating the console versions of the game to a spear-less existence whilst PC owners got very stab-happy across their game time.

For Elder Scrolls VI it stands to reason that Bethesda would listen to the huge outcry from fans at taking away what is always - in any game - such a fun weapon to use, and if the reason it was omitted was down to bad scripting or getting stuck in the world's geometry, the aforementioned new game engine should fix that nicely.
