7. There Are Multiple Playable Characters

As with The Binding of Isaac, The Legend of Bum-Bo has a variety of playable characters. There are currently four announced and shown by McMillen; Bumbo the Brave, Bumbo the Stout, Bumbo the Nimble and Bumbo the Weird.

As with Isaac, many more will likely make an appearance. Initial characters will be unlocked as you complete the first chapter with each Bumbo (Bumbo the Brave is the only starting character available) though we have no idea what happens once we beat the chapter as them all.

There's only one character that Isaac fans will wish is playable, and that's Bumbo's devilish counterpart, Dark Bum. This buddy was far more loved by the community, and it would be intriguing to see how his abilities translate to the new combat system.
