The Witcher 3 DLC Wishlist: 8 Things Fans Demand

4. A Mission Replay Feature

Witcher 3's story is one of the best. Never before has there been such a slow-burn character-driven narrative that's walked the perfect balance between retaining an engaging main quest, whilst letting you indulge in side-missions and exploration - all within a massively sprawling open world. Mass Effect 3 certainly couldn't pull it off, but when all's said and done you'll be thinking back on certain memorable quests (two of which come right near the end) or Witcher contracts you'd really like to replay. Obviously within these there are a slew of choices to make, so the mode should come from within Geralt's mind as he ponders on what he's been through, perhaps as an extension of the Meditation menu. That way, each mission would be isolated from the main story, and upon completion you'd be returned to your main save with nothing affecting your overall progress. Many large-scale open-world titles like Witcher, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Dragon Age etc. all have 'those moments' you talk about for years to come, but the developers of said games rarely include an option to replay them - and that's a real shame.
