For purists, this point might be a bit of a reach (as Witchers are trained to handle swords, and those alone), but as we're facing off against all sorts of beasts and bandits (the latter of which will come at you with spears, on occasion), it'd be great to mix up Geralt's standard animations with a handful of different weapons. It's something that doesn't need to be as robust as the likes of Skyrim or Dark Souls, but with Witcher's spell system proving a good five core options can be mixed up and deployed in the field, so to could the established set of swords and clubs be expanded to include axes and spears. Lastly, let's see the crossbow get an upgrade to target specific body parts for damage or animations - essentially like Shadow of Mordor where you could 'pin' enemies legs to the ground for the sake of managing groups of them. Right now, Wild Hunt's crossbow is only really used to ground flying enemies, but it'd be awesome to see it get both a substantial damage boost, or a solid and worthwhile implementation in the field.
