The series peaked too early for the online boom in gaming, but now everyone will get their chance to compete against the rest of the world.
Even from the start of the series split-screen multiplayer was a huge pull for the Tony Hawk's games, facing off against friends in modes from trick attack to fans favourite horse. Thankfully the split screen option will be there for those wanting to take on friends and family in the same room. However, online play is where the possibilities open up.
