Top 10 Skyrim Quests

1. Battle for/ Defense of Whiterun

As a Blacksmith, I spent hours of my time in Whiterun. Breezehome is the first house you can purchase in the game and with its prime location next to Warmaiden€™s, its close proximity to the Eorlund Greyman at the Skyforge (an extra blacksmith) and access to an Enchanting station in Dragonsreach, it seemed to me like the ideal home base. So when I spearheaded its invasion while allied with Ulfric Stormcloak€™s (Legion allies will have defended the place instead) my jaw could do little but hang open from start to finish. No longer was I pottering about amicably searching for this ore or trying to shift that trinket at Belethor€™s General Goods; now I was fighting for every inch of ground that led to Dragonsreach. It€™s the culmination of the Civil War storyline (borrowed heavily from the Game of Thrones books if you ask this author, what with the resurrection of the Dragons and all) and cements the Dragonborn in the eyes of his chosen faction, garnering us the praise and recognition of all involved. Just what we always wanted! The Battle for/ Defense of Whiterun, at least momentarily, turns the Dragonborn€™s world completely on its head, reminding the player that in times of war everywhere is a battlefield. So there they are, our favourite Skyrim quests all lined up like Stormcloak soldiers. Of course any top 10 list couldn't possibly hope to encompass the game's some 200+ quests (not including random generator quests), so we've bound to have left someone out in the snow. Did we miss any of your favourites? Do let us know won't you?
